Want to Cure Your Skin Cancer Without Surgery?
GentleCure is gentle, safe, and surgery-free. This treatment has a 99%+ rate for curing basal and squamous cell skin cancers. Over the course of a few weeks, you’ll receive treatment right in the dermatology office. Our image-guided superficial radiation therapy (SRT) machine is the only treatment that uses ultrasound imaging to let you see the cancer on the screen and review the progress made throughout the course of treatment. We’ll continue until no visible signs of cancer remain.
What to Expect With Treatment
With no cutting, surgical scarring, or reconstructive surgery, GentleCure (Image-Guided SRT) treats skin cancer without the discomfort and cosmetic issues often associated with surgery. You’ll be able to continue your normal daily activities throughout treatment.
At each treatment session, you’ll relax in a comfortable chair. We’ll apply ultrasound gel to the affected site, then use an imaging wand to examine the cancer on the screen. You’ll be able to see it for yourself. Using the detailed image, we’ll measure the size and shape of the tumor, define the treatment areas, and calculate a precise treatment dose.
After the imaging, the arm of the device will be placed over the treatment site. Next, the exact dose of X-ray energy will be used to treat the cancer site, leaving the healthy tissue around it unharmed.
Each treatment session takes a total of about 15 minutes, several times a week. In 4 to 7 weeks, your treatment will be complete!
